How it started

In 2013, Kevin Vorwerk founded the music production studio Olympian Records to combine his passion for music and technology. Kevin, a graduate in Applied Computer Science, has always had a deep interest in unlocking the secrets behind the melodies that stick with us. He discovered his passion for music at an early age and has been part of various music projects in his past as a keyboardist or bassist.

The inspiration for founding Olympian Records came from Kevin’s fascination with the art of digital music production. He has always been impressed by how a well-produced music recording can affect the perception of a song on a deep, often subconscious level. This realization made him want to explore the magic and science behind these musical masterpieces and put it into practice himself.

Kevin wanted to find out why some songs have that certain “something” that makes them so special and unforgettable. With this vision in mind, he began to gain extensive experience in music production over the years. His goal was to use this knowledge to help artists realize their musical visions and create songs that touch people.

At the heart of Olympian Records are the two siblings Dennis and Kevin Vorwerk. Both experienced musicians, they share a deep passion: the love of music.

Dennis and Kevin aren’t just brothers, they are also both members of the band Artemis Rising. Through their many years of working together, they have learned to combine their individual strengths and perspectives and incorporate them into their projects at Olympian Records.
